With the Fall season around the corner, it’s not uncommon to find your skin unnaturally dry. The seasonal shift signals the need for you to load up on moisturizing and hydrating products that can equalize the oil (sebum) production in your skin, which currently is on a downward trajectory.
The colder air around you saps the moisture from the skin and given that you’re loading up on fewer liquids, because you’re not quite as thirsty, your skin could be dehydrated from the inside out.
Here’s a face mask that’s packed with ingredients which will instantly plump up your skin, making it appear supple while lending you a natural glow:
- 1 egg yolk (packed with protein, it promotes cell production, helps shrink the pores and tightens the skin)
- 1tsp honey (famed for its antioxidant and moisturizing qualities, the natural cleanser exfoliates and detoxes the skin)
- 1 slice lemon (works as a natural bleach, treating discoloration and pigmentation induced by dry skin)
- 1tsp oatmeal (soothes irritated skin, relieving sun burn, wind burn and chapping)
Directions:
Blend all the ingredients to a paste-like consistency. Then, on a clean face, apply the mask using a foundation brush to evenly spread the mix. Leave it on for 10 minutes before washing with cold water.
