5-Minute Solution: Use Lemon Juice To Fix Greasy Hair

If you’ve woken up with limp, greasy hair, don’t blame your shampooing routine; it could just as easily be about weather change, environmental factors, over-brushing and a host of other things. All you need to know is that greasy hair is the outcome of excess sebum production in the scalp, and it’s completely natural but totally fixable.

DIY Lemon Juice Hair Wash
In 2 cups water, add 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice. After you have shampooed your hair, pour the mixture over your scalp and down to your tips. Gently massage the mixture into your scalp and let it sit for 3-5 minutes before you wash it out with room temperature water. The lemon will add a natural shine and bounce to your hair, while the astringent qualities will tighten the pores and balance the scalp’s oil production. Use this rinse twice a week and no more; overdoing it will dry the scalp.
