toothpaste-for-blackheads

Close to the surface, blackheads are hair follicles that are blocked by impurities and bacteria. This happens when the hormone dihydrotestosterone is active, which triggers an overproduction of sebum or oil, in turn blocking the pores. They could also be a result of stress, hormonal changes, and inadequate skincare routines. To keep them in check, try this quick remedy:

Ingredients: You need a mint-based toothpaste, salt or baking soda, and an ice cube.

Method

Make note that toothpaste can dry out your skin, so be sure to hydrate it with a light moisturizer afterwards. Also, do not be alarmed if your nose takes on a scarlet hue; it will regain the normal tint, shortly after. This mixture also works on whiteheads, so give it a go.
