Henna-hair-dye

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a stain-proof bowl, mix the basic henna recipe and the lemon juice. The acid in the lemon juice helps release the color of the henna.
  2. Whisk in the castor oil or egg yolk. The mixture is ready.
  3. Wearing an old shirt, apply this mask to damp hair. Wrap it in plastic wrap and then a clean, but old towel. (Make sure when you apply the henna you avoid your eyes, ears, neck and be careful to wipe off any henna below your hair line.)
  4. Keep the henna on your head for at least an hour; the longer it stays, the deeper the color will be!
