But, consider this: Ariana is a globetrotter with no real sleeping schedule, has to apply makeup and hair extensions, day after day, and deal with the additional skincare problems that come with being a young girl.

In the midst of all the fast-paced chaos, Grande relies on a thorough makeup removal routine and a detox session to de-stress her skin.

The singer loves her mascara and concealer, and is a big fan of fancy manicures. But, if there are any key takeaways from her skincare routine, these would have to be it:

If you’re looking to follow Grande’s advice, not just on a budget, but in an all-natural way, here are some homemade DIY solutions that will prove to be just as effective:

Natural Makeup Removers

  • Baby Oil: In case you were wondering, most baby oils are 98 percent minerals, and merely 2 percent fragrance. This means that they’re slightly thicker than most oils, but when it comes to adult skin and hair, they are just as easily absorbed into the pores and don’t leave any shiny residue. Consider baby oil to effectively get every last bit of makeup out, and moisturize your skin in the bargain.

  • DIY Eye Makeup Remover: In a clean container, mix 2oz witch hazel with 2oz olive oil and blend well. Shake the container and pour a little solution on a cotton ball or makeup wipe for use. If you store the mix in a cool, dry place, it can keep for up to 1 year. If you have sensitive skin, this makeup remover is perhaps the perfect option for you. The oils are anything but harsh, effectively remove all your makeup, and nourish your skin while at it.

Organic & Scented Body Butter Solutions

  • Lemon Cream Body Butter: In a saucepan, add 6tbsp coconut oil and 1/4 cup cocoa butter, and melt on low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir till slightly cooled. Then, slowly mix in 1tbsp vitamin E oil and 1/4tsp lemon essential oil and mix well. Transfer the mixture to a clean container and let it solidify. Use whenever you’re out in the sun as the lemon has a cooling and anti-tanning effect on the skin . This body butter can also be used to treat cracked heels and hand calluses.
  • Vanilla Body Butter: Melt 1 cup raw cocoa butter and 1/2 cup coconut oil. Take it off the heat and let it rest for 30 minutes. Blend 1 vanilla bean and add it to the oil, along with 1/2 cup sweet almond oil. Mix the ingredients and leave them to freeze till they partially solidifies. The vanilla fragrance will calm your senses and the oils will hydrate your skin. This body butter works perfectly after a nice long dip in the tub.

Skincare Diet
Much like you detox your body, the 5:2 skincare diet is a good plan to follow to give your skin the chance to clean itself, from the inside out. In a bid to put your best face forward every morning (through makeup), you wind up clogging your pores right from the word go.

The 5:2 skin diet recommends you stave off the makeup for two days in a week; they needn’t be consecutive. The purging promotes production of healthy skin cells, which reduces fine lines and enhances your inherent glow.
