Aloe Vera is a versatile plant commonly used for soothing irritated skin. Aloe contains over 20 minerals and vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C and E, and is an excellent natural moisturizer. To get fresh aloe gel, lay the leaf down flat on a cutting board. Use a sharp knife to cut off the leaf’s tip and edges along both sides. Slice the leaf in half vertically, separating front from back. Use a knife or spoon to scoop out the gel.
Directions:
Apply 4 tablespoons of pure aloe gel to the face and neck. Leave on for 20 minutes. Remove the gel with lukewarm water, then splash face with cold water to tighten pores. Remove any excess water or gel with a soft towel.
