Yoga Sculpt

Cardio and weights in a yoga class? Check. If you’re ready to add a whole lot of sweaty fun to your workout routine, Yoga Sculpt is the class for you.

What is Yoga Sculpt?

A high energy, high powered hot yoga routine, Yoga Sculpt incorporates weights, bursts of high-intensity cardio, and core workouts in a 60-minute class. Cue the fun music and you’re in down dog getting those muscles ready to be sculpted.

Familiar postures from vinyasa classes or other high-intensity classes are practiced with a twist. For instance, you could use weights during chair pose or add them in during eagle kicks.

Postures and position have many layers (1 to 3). Layer 1 is usually the basic position, while layer 3 adds additional movements that make the position much more difficult. You always have different layers of your poses and positions.

For example, if you are in the mood to test yourself, you can always switch it up and add mountain climbers to your high plank. You will most likely hear the instructor advising you to listen to your body and do what feels best.

The element of surprise that exists with Yoga Sculpt makes these classes even more exciting. No sculpt class is the same; every teacher incorporates different postures, cardio styles, and core workouts. You can always expect to try out something new and different, especially if you switch up the studio you go to.

Yoga Sculpt is not easy, but it is a lot of fun.

More challenging than other yoga classes, Yoga Sculpt focuses on building stamina and strength. Classes always have fun, upbeat music that will leave you dancing your way into your poses.

It is recommended that you take a few beginners or intermediate yoga classes before you add sculpting to your routine. Once you familiarize yourself with the yoga poses, you will be able to take them to the next level without harming yourself or pushing yourself too hard.

Classes tend to be exhausting; not only are you being pushed to your limits, the heated class will make you work a lot harder too. Can you imagine doing high kicks in a sauna for a few minutes? Don’t let this scare you off. Sculpt classes will always leave you energized and ready to take the world by storm.

Yoga Sculpt is good for you.

Yoga Sculpt is not only beneficial for getting physically toned, but it also has a positive impact on your heart, brain, and overall health. Not to mention, Yoga Sculpt is a natural way to detox because you will sweat a lot.

Make sure to listen to your body and take child’s pose anytime during the class when you need a break. Your yoga mat is a safe space, and you can practice the way you feel is right for your body. Don’t forget to always bring a bottle of water with you; you will need it!
