Altar'd captures the 90-day journeys of six engaged couples determined to lose weight and adopt healthy lifestyles before saying “I do" — with the added twist that they'll make their transformations seperately, meeting up again only when standing at the altar! It's relatable and refreshingly honest, following couples through an initial weigh-in, workout sessions with hosts and fitness pros Erin Stutland and Chris Marhefka, and the emotional highs and lows of wedding planinng, too. Like our first season, the second season will help overweight, engaged couples achieve their fitness goals before their wedding day. Selected couples will be introduced to fitness experts/trainers who will create 100% customized fitness and lifestyle programs (including a balanced and healthy food program) designed to help them achieve their fitness goals.
