The act of making New Year’s resolutions crosses the minds of nearly half of all Americans each year, with goals such as losing weight or quitting smoking ranked high in the top ten. As we conclude an eventful year, consider making a resolution with mindfulness at it's heart — most of these are quite easy to keep: 

1. Resolve To Be Less Negative

Both laughter and optimism have been linked to longer, healthier lives. Resolve to reduce the unwanted side effects of negativity by upping the positive vibes this new year by writing gratitude lists and spending time daily reflecting on the positive things happening in your world.
