We've given you the low-down on an exercise routine to make the most of your ass-ets; but then, there are those of us who may not have the time or the inclination to really pull a squat and a lunge, even though we crave the curves. Lucky then that there is a simpler, yet effective way to firm up those glutesall while you remain seated on your chair at work, or at home. Try these lazy-girl exercises for a toned booty.
This one-minute exercise is the quickest way to engage thoseglutes. Clench your butt muscles, hold for five counts, and release. You can do this intermittently right through day, as you file that report or check your social media updates.
While you're seated, keep your left leg planted on the ground, bent at the knee, and right leg stretched out straight. Now, make small circles mid-airwith the right leg, gradually increasing the circumference. Do this 30 times clock-wise, and then another 30 times anti-clockwise. Now switch, and do the same with the other leg.
Sitting on the chair, keep both feet on the ground, but raise one leg in a manner that only your toes should be touching the ground (pointed). Start writing the alphabet (A-Z) with your big toe. Then, do the same (spell the alphabets) with your heel. Once you're done,switch and do the other leg.
Are we claiming that these little tricks work just as well as a real workout? Not really. But, it can definitely firm up your skin and will serve you well in the long run.
