When practiced consistently, palm tree pose can promote overall well-being and help us live an improved, happier life.
Palm Tree Pose (Talasana)
Give your arms, chest, abdominal muscles, spine and legs a good stretch by practicing the palm tree pose, also known as Tadasana. A good beginner pose for yogis of any age and level, palm tree pose promotes balance both physically and mentally.
Derived from the Sanskrit words ‘Tada,’ which means palm tree or mountain, and ‘Asana,’ which means pose or posture, Tadasana can be performed in a standing position or a Supine position.
