1. Drink Your Coffee At 10am
If you are someone who likes to wake up to a hot cup of coffee, reconsider your habit. Your body is affected by a 24-hour hormonal cycle called the circadian clock
. This internal clock regulates the hormone cortisol, which makes you feel alert and awake. Cortisol levels generally spike between the hours of 8am-9am, noon-1pm, and 5pm-6pm.
Therefore, the best time to inhale that coffee drink is at 10am. If you need more coffee, consider drinking it between 2pm and 5pm, followed by a nap in the afternoon, if possible. Since coffee takes about 20-30 minutes to kick in, you will wake up feeling very refreshed after your power nap.

About 400mg of caffeine (approximately four cups of coffee) is thought to be safe for consumption. Any amount of caffeine exceeding this limit may lead to restlessness, tremors, irritability, upset stomach, and insomnia. So, keep a count of your coffee consumption on a daily basis.

found that people who consumed caffeine shortly after learning a task had better memory recall.

Need a kick to sweat it out? Drink coffee one hour before your exercise, as caffeine improves your endurance by using your fat as fuel. You will also feel motivated to exercise as coffee increases the concentration of endorphins (feel-good hormones) in your brain. Now, how cool is that?
5. Do Not Taint Your Coffee Love With These Health-Sabotaging Ingredients
Most people take their coffee with milk, cream, sugar, and artificial sweeteners, which add unnecessary fat and calories. The best way to drink coffee is with no addition to its flavor. However, if you have to, then consider adding spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg or cardamom and plant-based milk (almond, hemp or coconut) instead.
