series we take you on a tantazling tour to smoothie town with smoothie recipes that offer a delicious and nutritious start (end, or middle) to your day. We've had fun
exploring tasty blended combinations of scrumptious fruits and vegetables and coming up with our own smoothie recipe hacks. For this week's installment we decided to call in professional reinforcements and get some smoothie recipes from folks who know a thing or two about eating (or drinking) for maximum energy and wellness.
First on our list was fitness trainer and host of PopSugar Fitness global sensation, Class FitSugar (premiering on Z Living July 5)
Anna Renderer. She offered us the inside scoop on her favorite smoothie recipes for staying fueled before and after those butt-kicking PopSugar workouts. We whipped up a batch of these green smoothies to try and they are divine. Best, of all this smoothie recipe has Anna's personal stamp of approval, "This is not my own recipe," Anna says, "but I love it!"
So get your kale, bananas, honey and yogurt and blender ready. On your mark, get set go...it's Sassy Greens Smoothie time!
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut water
1 cup Kale
1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
1/2 frozen banana
1 Tbsp Honey
