Cheat With These Cocktails At Happy Hour

by Z Living Staff

Technically speaking, alcohol is what food experts would consider “empty calories”. You know the drill, they contain a lot of energy, but absolutely no nutrition.

But let’s be real: drinking is just too much fun to listen to nutritionists. I mean, what would life be without the occasional (and totally mouthwatering) cocktail?

And so, to honor the spirit of spirits — and also the spirit of nutritionists, we have created for you a collection of cocktail recipes that won’t break the calorie bank. That’s right, all of these below have less than 160 calories.

The key: use real ingredients. Cocktails should have a little liquor, a little citrus, and a little ice. That’s it!

Combine and serve on the rocks.

2. The Pure Margarita - 144 Calories
