RECIPE: Delicious Naked Wings With Bourbon Sauce

  • ½ dozen chicken wings
  • 4 cups canola oil
  • 3 teaspoons Old Honey Barns seasoning

Bourbon Glaze

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive-oil butter
  • 3 tablespoons bourbon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon blue cheese
  • 3 sprigs of thyme

  1. Season wings with Old Honey Barns seasoning
  2. Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pot
  3. Add wings to oil, and cook until crispy
  4. Toss wings in bourbon glaze (recipe below)

Bourbon Glaze

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter
  2. Add garlic to skillet
  3. Add bourbon, and stir
  4. Add thyme leaves
  5. Stir in brown sugar
  6. Stir in honey
  7. Add in paprika, Dijon and blue cheese, and stir
