Lean & Green Smoothie Recipe

  • 3 organic kale leaves
  • 2 handfuls organic spinach
  • 1 large organic banana (or two small, preferably frozen)
  • 2 cups organic unsweetened almond milk (any flavor)
  • 1 scoop Garden Of Life raw vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tbsp organic coconut oil
  • 10 shakes organic cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp organic raw maca powder
  • 1/4 tsp organic raw hemp powder
  • 1-2 tbsp chia seeds

Most of you know me well enough to know that my favorite idea of cooking is creating anything new in my Vitamix (soups, dips, drinks, smoothies… you name it). So I wanted to share my signature smoothie recipe, or as I like to call it, the best smoothie on the planet. It tastes amazing and ends up turning the most beautiful shade of green. Above all, the health benefits are out of this world!


  • Place all the ingredients, except for the chia seeds, in a blender
  • Blend until smooth
  • Add chia seeds in a glass and top it up with the smoothie
  • Let them soak for about five minutes, until they plump up

Additional Tips:

  • You can substitute the above greens for other greens that you don’t typically get in your diet. I love to mix and match lots of greens to ensure I’m getting the widest range of vitamins and nutrients.
