We were so excited to attend the Natural Products Expo West this year. As enthusiasts of natural living, we were eager to learn about the latest natural products and trends in the industry, and what we could expect to see in stores throughout the upcoming year.
While gluten-free products were still going strong, we were surprised to see a lot of new culinary developments. Like always, the natural food brands that attended proved that they are just as dedicated as ever to providing the most delicious foods they can while keeping them natural and clean.
That’s why we also found it pretty hard to narrow down the natural food products we’re most excited about enjoying. As challenging as it was, here are the top 10 natural products we think you’ll be just as pleased to see on your grocery store shelves this year:
CocoWhip! by So Delicious

Previously, it had been hard to find a vegan or dairy-free option when it came to whipped cream toppings. Whether you’re looking for an everyday option for topping your coffee beverages with, or you want a convenient garnish for your sweet desserts, this coconut milk-based topping is perfect. We particularly loved the creamy mouthfeel, even though it’s still as light and airy as traditional whipped cream.
Enlightened Ice Cream

If you’ve heard of Halo Top Ice Cream, then get ready to meet its new competitor. Enlightened Ice Cream promises a high protein, high fiber, low-fat, and low-sugar product that’s just as delicious as traditional ice cream. They told us we wouldn’t even notice the difference when we tasted it. Never one to back from a challenge, we sampled the ice cream and we definitely agree that we were none the wiser!
Purely Elizabeth Paleo-Friendly Bars

If you love Purely Elizabeth’s granola, wait until you try the brand’s new bars. Famous for their artful blend of nuts and seeds, Purely Elizabeth introduces another fantastic product to their line this year called the Grain-Free Superfood Bar, powered by the superfood Reishi.
These bars are made from a mix of cashews, sunflower kernels, pumpkin seeds, almonds, chia seeds, and hemp seeds. They’re sweetened with coconut sugar and utilize the superfood power of the adaptogenic herb, Reishi.
Republic of Tea Apple Cider Vinegar Sips

If you suffer from digestive issues or heartburn, your doctor has probably recommended apple cider vinegar to you. Even if you don’t suffer from these conditions, apple cider vinegar is commonly suggested by health professionals as a daily health booster to consider implementing into your diet. The Republic of Tea saw the growing need for a pleasant way to consume apple cider vinegar and has delivered with their new ACV sips.
All you have to do is dissolve the powder packets in water, and then you can drink the powerful blend of ACV, cranberry, hibiscus, and vanilla on-the-go.
Evolution Fresh Probiotic Smoothies

No doubt you’ve heard about probiotics and how awesome they are for your digestive health. While kefir, kombucha, and yogurt are still popular options, Evolution is raising the hype around smoothies with their new probiotic smoothie line. We tried their green probiotic smoothie and thought it was one of the tastier and more convenient ways to get probiotics into our diet.
Cauli-Flour “The Make Whatever You Want Mix” by Caulipower

While cauliflower pizza crust and similar low-carb, cauliflower substitutions are nothing new, the idea that you could conveniently grab a cauliflower baking mix that’s ready for you to use for whatever baking recipe you want is mind-blowing! As the name implies, this first-ever, vegetable-based flour can be used to make anything your heart desires, whether that’s pizza dough, cookies, pancakes, or brownies; the sky is the limit!
EggLife Wraps

A new high-protein, low-carb substitute for traditional tortillas has arrived. Rather than simply swap out flour tortillas with common gluten-free options, EggLife is introducing a new alternative that is more than just low-carb. These egg-based wraps are protein-rich, keeping you satisfied and full long after your meal is over.
Field Roast Chao Dressings

This plant-based company is famous for vegan options, including vegan burgers and dairy-free cheese slices. Field Roast has once again provided an exciting grocery list item: vegan dressings! The dressings come in classic flavors like ranch, caesar, and thousand island.
Drinkable Yogurt by Califia Farms

The probiotic trend was as strong as ever at the expo this year, and Califia Farms was there supporting it with their probiotic drinkable yogurt. These gut-healthy drinks make it easy to get your daily fill of yogurt while you’re on-the-go. The dairy-free drinks are a great option for vegans too.
PopChips Nutter Puffs

If you’re looking for an addictive snack, try these new Nutter Puffs from PopChips. The puffs are made with the brand’s iconic “popped” technology and are super light and crunchy. They come in a classic peanut flavor as well as chocolate peanut butter, which gives them a taste similar to peanut butter cups.
