Ginger Root Tea

Ginger has been a proven digestive aid and nausea remedy for centuries. Grab some ginger root from your local grocery store, peel it and then chop into small pieces. Place the ginger root in a mug along with some honey and pour hot water overtop. Let steep for several minutes, then drink this to ease your hangover’s nauseating side effects.


The Royal Society of Chemistry suggests honey is an ideal way to combat a hangover. Apparently, fructose found in honey helps the body metabolize alcohol, plus it contains potassium. Honey also contains antibacterial properties and is full of enzymes, all of which will help you feel better in a hurry.
