Have you been suffering from an excruciating toothache? From cavities, infections and abscesses to injury and sinus, the reasons behind your tooth pain can be many.
But you don’t need to visit the dentist each time your tooth hurts. You can find a quick and easy home remedy to relieve your tooth pain in salt & pepper water.
Why This Combination Works?
Salt combined with pepper can effectively soothe an aching tooth. Packed with antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, this power combo keeps tooth sensitivity in control. A natural disinfectant, salt also prevents swelling, which is often the reason for the pain.
How To Use It
- Make a pain-relieving mouthwash by mixing 1tsp each of salt and ground pepper in a glass of lukewarm water. Swish your mouth with this solution three to four times a day.
- Alternatively, mix equal amounts of pepper powder and salt (1:1) with a few drops of water to make a fine paste. Dip a cotton ball in it and apply to the affected tooth two to three times a day for relief.
