Stretch marks can be quite stubborn, whether you got them during pregnancy or when you put on some extra weight. The most common spots are your tummy, thighs, breasts, waist, arms and hips. These five home remedies will help you erase those marks naturally.

1. Aloe Vera
This plant contains collagen, which is known to repair skin and improve its elasticity. Take ½tsp of fresh aloe vera gel and apply it directly on your stretch marks. You can also use the natural aloe vera gel that is available at many drug stores. Leave this on for two hours and wash off with regular water. Use it twice a day.

2. Egg Whites
They are a rich source of protein, which can help remove stretch marks. Apply 1tsp of egg whites on your stretch marks three times a day to fade them out.

3. Potatoes
Potato juice is rich in vitamins and minerals, which can restore your skin cells. Take a fresh potato and cut it into a thick slice (1cm), ensuring there is enough juice. Rub this slice over your stretch mark and let the juice dry naturally. Wash off with warm water. Use this twice a day.

4. Olive Oil
High in vitamin E, which builds the skin’s collagen, olive oil is an effective stretch mark treatment. Apply it daily on your stretch marks and leave on overnight. Wash off with regular water.

5. Sugar, Oil & Lemon Juice Scrub
Make a scrub using equal parts white sugar, almond oil and a little lemon juice. Apply this all over your stretch marks and massage lightly. Leave on for 15 minutes and wash off with regular water. Use this mixture twice a day.
