Experts Recommend You Switch To Eco-Friendly Beauty Products

by Trina Remedios

Beauty products have  become essential components to maintain one's youthful glow and slow down the aging clock. Unfortunately, a lot of the ingredients go unchecked, and may be delivering harmful chemicals to our skin while also damaging the environment.

In this episode of Naturally Beautiful, host Nitika Chopra invites to a roundtable industry leaders who market and use only eco-friendly beauty products. Celebrity makeup artist Rebecca Casciano, co-founder of Fresh Lev Glazman, and holistic nutritionist Abra Pappa, are all connoisseurs of these sustainable products, and they're here to tell you why you must embrace them, too.

Some of the brands that are worth your time and money include Cargo, Korres, Aveda, Burt's Bees, and Juice Beauty. Not only are they all-natural themselves, but even their packaging makes use of recyclable materials. That said, just because a lotion is packed with natural ingredients doesn't automatically make it great for you. One must find the right fit to suit their skin type before committing to a product long-term, says Rebecca Casciano.

And it doesn't stop there. The experts also talk about how you can supplement your beauty routine with the right skincare diet. Nourish your skin from the inside out to see a visible change because topical application alone, cannot give you long-lasting results. Lev explains how he hits the whole foods' aisle for inspiration so that he can add organic ingredients to his body care line.

"What you eat is how you feel," says Abra Pappa. It's not just food for your body, but for your skin as well, and keeping your nutrition levels in check is just as important for a healthy state of mind and vibrant appearance.

Are you ready to find out how you can embrace the change? Let's watch!
