GateCrashers: Our Favorite Open-To-Public Events At The NYFW 2016

by Charlene Flanagan

It's hard (often impossible) to make it to the guestlist of one of the most prestigious ramp shows in the world, and New York Fashion Week ranks right up there in the coveted list.

While sitting in the front row as the likes of Rebecca Minkoff, Hervé Léger, Monique Lhuillier, Prabal Gurung and Jenny Packham showcase their finest threads will always be on the wishlist, attending the open-to-public events and being part of the extravaganza is far more fun than watching the magic unfold on the tele.

Make way for us gatecrashers; you will find us with a couple of cocktails in our finest baubles at these exciting events

The concept of the Éva Michelle FW collection entitled “Dark Roses” is inspired by romance which incorporates softer, feminine, flowing fabrics that are reminiscent of a classic love story. But, it doesn't end there. Darker hues from the palette hope to showcase the different stages of love, right from first dates to heartbreak. With young, fashion-forward women in mind, the Dark Roses collection works as the perfect canvas or moodboard. So, what are  you feeling today?
