Have you ever wondered what you would do if you found that one solution that could give you more beauty benefits than you could count? Would you share the secret with the world or would you hoard it and reap the benefits all by yourself? Well, we're here to spread the word that almond oil is indeed the secret to good health, great skin and a healthy heart, and we can only begin to explain the multiple anti-aging benefits of this magical elixir.
All that's left to tackle is your hair, and so we shall, as we teach you how to use almond oil to improve scalp health and hair texture:
For The Scalp
Massage the oil into your scalp for 15-20 minutes, then massage a bit into the hair. Rubbing the oil into the scalp will help the solution seep into the hair follicles and promote healthy growth, right from the root. Allow the almond oil to sit for at least 45 minutes, but you can also leave it in overnight. Simply rinse with shampoo when done. Doing this regularly (1-2 times a week) will keep the skin of your scalp moist, and prevent dandruff and bacteria build-up. Rubbing a few drops of almond oil along the lengths of your hair is also a great way to make them appear lustrous.
For Hair Growth
Almond oil stimulates hair growth. Simply combine 3tbsp almond oil with a torn hibiscus flower and 3tbsp castor oil in a bowl. Before you massage the mixture into your scalp, warm it up slightly. Work the oil in for a good 10 minutes. This will stimulate the hair follicles and increase circulation. Wrap your head in a towel and leave it covered for an hour. Wash away the oil with your regular shampoo. Repeat this process twice a week, and in a month or so, you will notice visible results by way of thicker, stronger hair growth. Almond oil is also a great way to stave off split ends.
Rich in vitamins A, B, E, F and minerals chlorine, iron, zinc, magnesium, and calcium, even the nut itself is a great superfood to add to your diet. With so much ground covered, are you the least bit surprised we keep turning to almond oil in hopes for more?
