The first grant recipient is Humane Society of McCormick County, nominated by dog-owner Judy Alfredson Haywood. The staff at Humane Society of McCormick County helped Judy find her dog Tara, pictured below. We're thrilled to offer our #FindingFido Holiday Grant.

If You Adore Dogs, Then You'll Love Finding Fido

The newest Z Living original series Finding Fido (premiering January 17), matches people with shelter dogs to help them both live happier, healthier lives. Finding Fido show host, dog expert, and photographer Seth Casteel helps an enthusiastic dog owner-to-be find their perfect companion.

Whether it’s a sociable dog that can help owners overcome shyness or even a dog that can detect the onset of an owner’s epileptic seizure, Casteel matches each participant’s specialized needs and criteria to his or her new best friende this holiday season and beyond.
