12 Places To Catch The Most Incredible #4thOfJuly Fireworks

This is an amazing time to reconnect with family and friends, kick back, and relax over delicious themed food, drinks and desserts, as well as decorate the house to display your patriotism. But no fourth of July celebration is complete without gasping in delight while watching incredible fireworks displays to commemorate the occasion.

Here’s our list of 12 places to head to for the best and brightest sky explosions:

  1. Washington, DC
    The 17-minute display of fireworks begins at 9:10pm at the National Mall, the nation’s most important civic space and home to some of the most iconic monuments and memorials in the country. Spend the entire day with music and activities, and end with a breathtaking display of fireworks over the reflecting pool.

  2. San Francisco, California
    The dazzling fireworks display over the San Francisco Bay begins at approximately 9:30pm, but before that, you are encouraged to also celebrate your Findependance with Shark Week! Television’s most anticipated summer event, Shark Week, which starts Sunday, July 5 on Discovery, means PIER 39 is going to be full of shark-filled fun for the whole family—a photo booth, shark-related activities and prizes, the Aquarium of the Bay’s Shark Lab, informative presentations and a shark selfie scavenger hunt, are on the cards.

  3. Nashville, Tennessee
    Head to Downtown Nashville to see a show that will feature more fireworks than any other display in the country. The best part? It will be synchronized to live music performed by the Grammy-winning Nashville Symphony.

    The show in Forest Park, St Louis, will begin at 10pm with stunning fireworks over the Grand Basin, popular music by big-name stars, and tasty food in a family-friendly atmosphere, all at the Fair Saint Louis 2015.

  5. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
    Celebrate America’s birthday in America’s birthplace: Philadelphia. The Benjamin Franklin Parkway hosts the ‘largest free concert’ in the country on July 4th with great food, fun and entertainment all day long. It all leads up to the incredible fourth of July jam and Grand Finale Fireworks at approximately 10:30pm at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

  6. Boston, Massachusetts
    In keeping with the rich American tradition and heritage, the 2015 Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular will feature the family-owned and operated Fireworks by Grucci, known as “America’s first family of fireworks,” who will produce this year’s performance at the Charles River Esplanade at 10:30pm. The Gruccis, now in their sixth generation, have transformed the night skies to the delight of millions across the globe since 1850. They possess two Guinness World Records, most notably the record for the world’s largest fireworks display, and will produce over 100 displays nationwide to celebrate America’s 239th year.

  7. Lake Tahoe, California
    If you want to enjoy what the American Pyrotechnics Association rates as one of the top five displays in the nation, head to South Shore, where it is scheduled to begin at 9:45pm and is visible from all over town.

  8. New York, New York
    The fireworks, which begin at 9pm, may be viewed in Manhattan, Queens & Brooklyn from any area with an unobstructed view of the sky above the East River. The public viewing sections for Manhattan will be the elevated portions of FDR drive.

    One way to celebrate in Chicago is to go cruising from Navy Pier, where you can go aboard Spirit of Chicago and get front row seats to the spectacular fireworks show at 9:30pm, besides seeing the stunning city beneath the illuminated night sky. There’s a festive buffet and interactive DJ entertainment as well.

    This celebration begins early, as it is also Addison’s annual celebration, known as Addison Kaboom Town, and is actually held on the eve of fourth of July. Rated one of the top five fireworks shows in the United States, this Independence Day Eve celebration features a choreographed 30-minute ground-launched fireworks show, and fly-bys from World Class Warbirds from the Cavanaugh Flight Museum, food, games, prizes, musical entertainment, after party and more, at Addison Circle Park.

    There’s no place brighter than Vegas, but imagine what happens when it celebrates the fourth of July with spectacular fireworks lighting every corner of valley. You can choose from several locations on the strip, such as The Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower at 9pm, Caesars Palace at 9:15 pm, Mandalay Bay Beach, Stations Casinos properties across the valley, Boulder City, and the city of Henderson.
