If you’re about to go on a crash diet to look your best this Valentine’s Day, here’s why you should reconsider. A recent experiment conducted by Sky News revealed that eating a complete vegetarian diet can really help in losing large pounds as compared to crash diets.

For the experiment, Sky News examined four viewers on four different diets over 21 days and discovered that the Paleo diet proved to be the best when it came to losing weight.

According to dietitian Rick Miller, crash dieting causes people to lose water weight and sometimes muscle mass as well. However, dietitians focus on body fat as it reduces health risk. This is why a vegetarian diet plan is the best option.

The four individuals who participated in the experiment followed four different diet plans. However, they were also asked to increase their physical activity to accelerate the weight loss.
