Basic Brown Rice



    • 2 cups brown rice
    • 3 3/4 cups water
    • 2 pinches sea salt


    • Rinse rice well with cold water.
    • Bring rice and water to a boil. Add two pinches of sea salt.
    • Cover, lower flame and allow to simmer for 40-45 minutes.
    • Let stand, covered, for 5 minutes.
    • Fluff with a fork and serve.
