A: Quinoa is a delicious grain-like seed with a nutty flavor that is the only complete protein in the plant world (e.g. it has all the amino acids needed to comprise a complete protein). It’s delicious when cooked and tossed with a little olive oil and seasoned with some kosher salt and pepper. Add some to your salad or serve as a side with a squeeze of fresh lemon.
