When the warm weather hits, all you want to do is jump in a pool or sip on a cool drink, like this Slurpee recipe. Made with fresh strawberries, this Slurpee beverage is bursting with delicious strawberry flavor and natural sweetness.

While you can make a Slurpee with any type of fruit or berry that you like, we love using strawberries because they tend to be incredibly juicy and ripe this time of the year. Recipes like strawberry pie and this strawberry Slurpee are just a couple of the many ways you can take advantage of strawberry season.

If you want to make this Slurpee recipe but don’t have access to fresh strawberries, you can easily use frozen strawberries instead. This holds true for other fruits and berries as well. Refreshing, blended summer drinks like this are only made thicker and cooler by the frozen quality of the fruit.

If you want to really enhance the strawberry flavor in this Slurpee recipe, you could substitute the club soda with a sparkling berry drink instead.
