When Katie and Tim started their journey on Altar'd
, Katie weighed in at 242, Tim ay 256. They finished their 90-day shape up and wed healthier than ever: Katie lost 22 pounds, Tim 31.
What's Next For Katie and Tim?
The couple honeymooned in Ireland and have joined a gym together.
In Katie's Own Words:
"We have both gained a little weight back, with all the busy-ness that comes with moving and getting married and going on a honeymoon, however, we have joined Gold's Gym, and we're figuring out life together with new habits, so we should be back on track and continuing to lose weight.
Whenever we go out to eat now, we always share a meal instead of each getting our own, and they are much more healthful choices than we made in the past. Tim is doing really well staying away from soda for the most part and drinking flavored water. He quit his job that had him working overnight and was sabotaging him by having an endless supply of junk food and screwing up his sleep schedule."
Overall, being a part of Altar'd
not only helped us look and feel great for the biggest day of our lives, it also gave us the tools and an incredible network of people to continue to transform our lives: to work toward a healthy lifestyle for our future family, and to be comfortable and confident in our bodies and in who we are."
Bravo and congratulations, Katie & Tim!

In the show, engaged couples are challenged to shape up 90 days before their wedding day — with the added twist of doing it separately, then revealing their transformations when they meet up again at the altar! For 90 days, each bride- and groom-to-be is asked to workout for an hour daily and eat only meals from the diet delivery service Diet-to-Go. They'll have access to gyms, trainers, and the support of co-hosts Erin Stutland and Chris Marhefka, but the real commitment to change their bodies and lives — as well as the struggle, willpower and emotion along with it — comes from within.
