- 2 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon powdered turmeric
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- Honey to taste
- Bring water to a boil.
- While the water boils, grate the ginger and juice the lemon.
- When the water has boiled, pour it into a mug.
- Place turmeric and grated ginger in a tea strainer, then add the mixture to the water.
- Let steep for 10 minutes. Strain, add lemon and honey, and drink warm.
