Anti-aging : Acupressure can be used as a facial massage technique to enhance the muscle tone and improve blood circulation to the face. This improves the tone and tightness in facial muscles and lessens the appearance of wrinkles. Simple finger pressure on specific facial points can relieve stress and increase the release and elimination of toxins.

In general, we’ve discussed a basic juice cleanse that would work form the inside out—improve blood circulation and detox your body—to give you beautiful skin.

Now, we take a look at healthy dietary supplements that you should consider for very specific skincare problems, in order to speed-up the recovery process.

Consider this a juicing of sorts for your skin; one that will direct your skin cells to act in the manner you need them to.

The Pimple Popper
Nobody wants to run around town with a pesky pimple to ruin a good day. And if you’re someone who can’t keep their hands to themselves, you’re going to want to pop that pimple, causing redness, irritability and in some cases, bleeding.
Juice Fix: Try a mix of kale, mint and coconut as the first two have anti-inflammatory properties, while coconut is rich in antioxidants and can fight sun damage.
Make It Your Own: Blend 1 serving protein powder—preferably non-dairy—1 cup shredded lacinato kale, 1/4 cup fresh mint, the juice of one lime, 1 small box coconut water (11 oz), 1tbsp chia seeds and four ice cubes till smooth.

The Wrinkle-Lift
Smoothies, especially of the green variety, are packed with all the necessary vitamins, minerals and nutrients. These concoctions are the proverbial fountain of youth for the modern-day woman (or man), with effects that radiate onto your face and energy levels.
Juice Fix: All green smoothies instantly hydrate the skin, reducing puffiness and lending an inherent glow.
Make It Your Own: Blend 4 celery stalks, 1 bunch of parsley, 2 handfuls of spinach, 2 carrots, 1 apple, 1 beetroot, 1/2 a handful of kale, along with a little lemon and ginger for taste, and you’re done.

The Complexion Concoction
Pigmentation, dullness, dark patches and flaky skin can leave even the most-spirited person in a gloom of darkness.
Juice Fix: Luckily, some of your everyday foods blended together are enough to give you even-toned skin. While eating them on a daily basis is a tad unrealistic, throwing them in the mixer is easy-peasy.
Make It Your Own: Take 1/2 cup fresh coconut water, 2 ripe bananas, 1 cup fresh pineapple, 1 cup fresh mango, 2 cups spinach or kale, and 1/2 an avocado. You have the option of adding 1tbsp ground flaxseeds or flaxseed oil if you like. Just give it a whiz and you’re sorted for the day.

The benefits of drinking these solutions are not limited to the skin. You will feel a surge of energy all day long, and a marked improvement in your digestive functions as well.
