Your hair is often the first to show signs of poor health and aging. True to its name, your crowning glory can add youth and beauty to your overall appearance if you know how to keep it healthy.

Almost all hair care products that are available in the market are loaded with chemicals that damage your hair with each use. On the other hand, using natural methods like Ayurveda not only make your hair healthy and beautiful, but can reverse the damage caused by an overload of chemicals to some extent.

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda, an Indian medical science that has been around for over 5000 years, believes in the principle of creating a natural balance within your body and with the environment. You are seen as part of your natural habitat, not an individual entity, and it is important you maintain harmony with nature to ensure physical, mental and spiritual well-being.

Ayurveda offers specific treatments that can take care of all your hair worries. It does not require any special medicine or product and does not need you to create a big change in your current lifestyle. In fact, most things that you need to treat your hair through Ayurveda can be easily found at your local grocery store, farmer’s market or even in your kitchen!
