After making his mark in the Furious 7, the Rock is set to hit the big screen again with the earth-shattering movie, San Andreas. The flick is fueled with pure adrenaline that’s riding over a 9.6 magnitude earthquake and tsunami, which shows Dwayne in the pursuit to save his daughter. Given that the movie hits theaters on 29th May, 2015, Johnson’s been a little anxious and unsurprisingly has decided to calm his nerves by pumping some iron.

The Rock’s recent Insta post is far from the frou-frou celebrity uploads you’ve been lambasted with from Cannes. Johnson is at the gym, ripping it up with some upper body workouts using resistance bands to shoot up those biceps and triceps. Working with resistance bands has multiple advantages. They tone, sculpt, increase flexibility, strengthen your core, give you better joint stability, improve coordination, and enhance your sense of balance too. Dwayne posts: “Don’t tri and get bi, or you’ll get delt with and trapped.. #RubberBandBurn #In3Days #TheEventRideOfTheSummer #SanAndreas THIS FRIDAY.” #Nuffsaid! Watch it for yourself.

Also, you remember when we told you how Kevin Hart was going the whole hog to get a seriously beefed up look for his latest action flick? Well, the actor-comedian was spotted working his core and abs, Jason Derulo style, and you know how much we absolutely love the singer’s six-pack.
Catch Hart in this video as we debate installing a pull-up bar for an at-home ab workout.
