Jessica Alba Fab Four Diet

While celebrities like Molly Sims and Jessica Alba have access to personal trainers and high-end gyms, they also depend on expert nutritionists to keep their physiques looking svelte. If you’ve ever wondered how these two stunning ladies always seem to be in tip-top shape, look no further than their diet plan.

Fab Four Diet

Scientifically formulated by celebrity nutritionist Kelly LeVeque, the Fab Four is a diet plan that consists of eating complete meals that help you avoid mindless snacking while balancing blood sugar levels.

In order to avoid the cravings and crashes that occur with an unbalanced diet, the Fab Four Diet dictates eating a perfect mix of protein, fat, fiber and greens at every meal. Celebrities like Molly Sims, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner and Chelsea Handler are just a handful of LeVeque’s high-profile clients who swear by the diet.

Why the Diet Works

LeVeque makes sure that she educates her clients about the science behind the diet and how it biologically makes sense.

“Fab Four meals turn off hunger hormones, squelch inflammation and provide the body with the perfect complete meal of essential nutrients,” LeVeque told MyDomaine.

The four components of the diet — protein, fat, fiber and greens — all fulfill their own role in fighting off cravings and hunger. Protein tends to signal to your brain that you’re full while fat slows down digestion and increases satiety.

Fiber, on the other hand, helps keep your gut health at the top of its game, helping to detoxify the body and keep blood glucose levels in check. Getting some greens into every meal is also key to obtaining essential vitamins and nutrients, as well as fighting inflammation and easing digestion.

When you’re eating unbalanced meals, such as back-to-back carbs, LeVeque explains that you end up disrupting the blood-sugar balance, which results in cravings and crashes. When working with celebrities like Jessica Alba, who enjoys including carbs in her diet, LeVeque suggests eating just one serving size of carbs in one meal of the day rather than the carbs being the main component of every single meal.

Fab Four Diet Recipes

The Fab Four Diet, according to LeVeque, isn’t so much about what you shouldn’t eat as much as it’s about making sure the four core components of the diet are there in your meals.

Whether you’re making a breakfast smoothie using LeVeque’s smoothie formula, or simply trying to figure out what to eat for lunch or dinner, you just want to focus on making sure you’re getting a nice balance of protein, fat, fiber and greens.

When you’re using lean, unprocessed ingredients to fulfill that essential combination, LeVeque argues that you won’t have to think so hard about what you shouldn’t be eating or can’t eat.

Some of the recipes LeVeque shares with clients like Jennifer Garner and Jessica Alba are on her website, including her chia seed pudding recipe and avocado bean salad. The recipes she shares on her site include easy substitutes and hacks to ensure all four components of the diet are making their way onto your plate in a tasty and satisfying way.
