Ingredients

  • 8 ounces horse chestnuts, chopped
  • 24 ounces (80-proof or higher) alcohol, such as brandy, vodka or gin

Directions

  1. Add chestnuts and alcohol to a glass jar, let sit 14 days.
  2. Strain and squeeze through cheesecloth. Store in dark-glass bottle

Dosage: 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml.), in a glass of water, daily for 3 to 12 months. After that, take 6 days per week or as needed.
