- Coconut oil (cooling to the system because the head should never be heated)
- Brahmi (Ayurvedic herb that calms down the nervous system)
- 3 or 4 drops of chamomile essential oil (calming)
Combine some coconut oil, brahmi, and chamomile. Cut a hole in the middle of a piece of cloth and douse it in the oil combination. Place the cloth on top of the head. Gently pour on additional oil for a greater vata imbalance. The heaviness on the head calms down the mind.
