Q: I feel hungry all the time after I got pregnant. Is this normal?
A: “It’s normal to feel hungry all the time during pregnancy because you are literally eating for two. I encourage my patients to eat smaller meals, every two to three hours, to quench the hunger pangs. If they are unable to do that (because of work or any other reason), I tell them to eat a heavy breakfast, lunch and dinner, and maybe a snack between lunch and dinner as there’s a long gap between the two. Not only does this leave them satisfied, it also keeps the hunger in control.”
