This just in! Rihanna’s sneakers under the Fenty label for Puma sold out within three hours. Called The Creeper, the suede sneaker stays true to PUMA’s signature style, but the design is edgy—just like bae. It oozes an NYC punk rock vibe, what with the flashy PUMA Fenty label in gold foil on the tongue. With a platform rubber outsole that has a foam like appearance with ridged tooling, this one will keep you firm-footed when you’re up and about.
It’s no surprise that RiRi’s creation for the sporting goods brand was met with such enthusiasm, given the success of Kanye’s Yeezy for Adidas and Ronaldo’s CR7 kicks. Needless to say, if there’s a celebrity at the helm of the designing of active wear, people are sure to lap it up.
Ronaldo & Jackman
Also spotted on social media were posts by two leading men from the industry. While Hugh Jackman dishes it out at the gym with some rope work (a favorite among celebrities), Ronaldo was all about recovery workouts to repair the wear and tear of endurance training.
Make note that rope training is a great way to build strength as it provides resistance and serves as an alternative to free weights. As for recovery workouts, they’re all about striking a chemical and hormonal balance, repairing the nervous system and muscle tissues, and also easing your mental state and stress. A trainer may advice stretching exercises, yoga, swimming, and foam roller workouts, given that physicians world over have now acknowledged the importance of recovery exercises in fitness routines.
