Oh, Portugal. We will forever be thankful for these two eye candies, what with the soccer champ and Victoria’s Secret Angel making for model muses among those who wish to be fit and fabulous! This weekend, both Ronaldo and Sampaio took to Instagram to share a snapshot of their workouts; FYI, our weekend exercise was limited to changing the TV channels.

Cristiano turned to indoor cycling for recovery—in 7 minutes and 22 seconds, he burned 37 calories while covering 2.82 km (1.75 mi) at 71 rpm (revolutions per minute).

Make note that indoor cycling or spin class is an adrenaline pumping exercise that various celebrities endorse to lose weight. Zooey Deschanel, David Beckham, Hilary Duff—all of them swear by the workout.

This is not the first time that the footballer has put up an Instapost to reiterate that cycling is his go-to exercise. In the past, we’ve spotted Ronaldo’s active wear, equipment, and fancy ride on his feed, too.

He supplements his intense workout with a protein-rich meal—grilled chicken with a side of freshly-tossed salad, please!

Moving on to Sara Sampaio. It really is quite a visual treat to visit the Victoria’s Secret Instagram page. Model workouts serve as inspiration, and the stunning ladies demonstrate how everyday moves can get you the desired body.

This was our takeaway from Sara’s post: When in need to amp up your workout, use resistance bands. While Sampaio’s move is targeted at the upper body, arms and abs, feel free to swap your light weights with the bands to control the level of intensity, and improve stamina and flexibility in any exercise. They help you explore a host of variations that work the same muscles, but in very different ways.
