Honey Roasted Figs

    Ingredients

    • 16 figs
    • 1 tablespoon honey
    • Juice and zest of 1 tangerine or orange
    • 1 tablespoon butter
    • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 375.
    2. Cut an X on top of each fig. Place figs in a 4.5 x 4.5 baking pan or casserole dish.
    3. In a small saucepan melt butter, honey, tangerine juice and zest, and cinnamon until combined.
    4. Pour on top of figs and bake, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes.
    5. Serve immediately.
