    Making this no-yeast breadsticks recipe is foolproof because you can simply use store-bought pizza dough to create the bread. There’s no need to worry about proofing your yeast or kneading your dough.

    Not only that, but other than the pizza dough, this easy breadsticks recipe only requires a couple of other ingredients, including an egg and almonds; that’s it!

    To create the look of fingers with your pizza dough, you’re going to simply roll pieces of dough into ropes, then press an almond into one end of each piece. You can choose to add some poppy seeds or sesame seeds to your breadsticks if you want, otherwise, you will just bake them as is.  When they’re finished baking, you can serve them with marinara sauce or any other dipping sauce that you want.

    Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with a sheet of parchment paper.
    2. Using floured hands and a lightly floured work surface, divide the pizza dough ball into 8 pieces. Roll each piece into 9 to 10 inches long.
    3. Grabbing each dough piece, twist the dough in the center to create the "knuckle" for your fingers then place the dough pieces on the prepared baking sheet.
    4. Let the dough rest for about 20 minutes while you prep the other ingredients. In a small bowl, whisk the egg and water together to combine.
    5. Brush the dough with the egg mixture, then press an almond down onto one end of each dough finger. Press the almond down hard to prevent it from falling off when the "fingers" bake.
    6. Bake the "fingers" for 15 to 20 minutes or until they're golden. Serve warm with marinara sauce or your choice of dipping sauce.
