Are you a lover of all things chocolatey and fudgy? If so, you are going to love these Halloween brownies. They’re moist, rich, and best of all, totally adorable and festive for the upcoming holiday!
While we love decorating treats like our spooky Halloween cupcakes, sometimes we just find ourselves craving a simple and effortless dessert like these Halloween brownies. You don’t have to have any fancy decorating skills to make these ghost brownies and get to enjoy a fudgy classic, chocolate dessert when you’re done.
The trick to getting fudgy brownies is to bake them for just the right amount of time. If you overbake brownies, they become cake-like and more dry in texture. Instead, you’ll want to pull out the brownies before they look completely set.
For us, this is typically about 25 minutes. If you don’t want the brownies super gooey, then you may want to bake the brownies for about 10 to 15 minutes longer.
To create the spooky ghost topping, all we did was use marshmallows, melted, store-bought white frosting, and some mini chocolate chips for the eyes. We love the easy decorating method for these Halloween brownies because it’s a cinch to make a big batch of these, which is perfect for parties and kids.
