    These healthy pancakes are a great option when you’re looking to make pancakes from scratch. You only need a handful of ingredients and the recipe comes together very quickly.

    To make these pancakes healthier than other pancakes, you’ll use whole wheat pastry flour instead of regular all-purpose flour. You’ll also use honey rather than table sugar to sweeten up your pancakes.

    A little vegetable oil and almond milk tenderize the batter and give these pancakes their moist, cake-like texture.

    To spruce up these healthy pancakes, feel free to use a flavored extract like almond extract or add a little lemon zest into the batter.

    We love stirring in dark chocolate chips sometimes or pouring fresh blueberry sauce over the finished pancakes.
