Lemonade Recipe with a Twist

    lemonade in a pitcher

This lemonade recipe is not your average lemonade stand product. Instead, along with the juice of a freshly squeezed lemon, you get the bold flavors of ginger, the sweetness of apples, and a little heat from the cayenne.

We like to refer to this lemonade recipe as healthy lemonade since it’s not filled with loads of sugar like the ones you’ll find in restaurants or juice shops. Instead, this healthier version utilizes a little bit of agave to sweeten the beverage.

The lemonade also relies on Fuji apples for natural sugar and to help balance out the tang of the lemons. Another wonderful addition to this lemonade recipe is the ginger because of its many health benefits, including detoxifying the body and improving digestion.

The only caveat to this version of lemonade is that you’ll need a juicer to create this recipe. If you already own a juicer, however, then get ready to sip on this healthful, refreshing drink!
