This mahi-mahi recipe is a tasty and hassle-free way to prepare fish for your meals. Made with a ginger lime marinade, you’ll love the zesty flavors in this recipe.
To ensure your mahi-mahi (also known as common dolphinfish) has the best flavor, we suggest using wild-caught fish. This way you’ll be sure to get a piece of fish with optimal freshness.
Preparing this mahi-mahi recipe is very straightforward and simple. The fish is placed in a ziplock bag with a mixture of lime juice, honey, garlic, and fresh ginger poured on top of it.
This bag of mahi-mahi is then placed in the fridge to marinate for at least an hour. Then, a simple pinch of salt and pepper is added to the fish and it’s set on the grill to cook.
It only takes a few minutes for the fish to cook on each side before it’s ready to be eaten. We love cutting the mahi-mahi up into small pieces and making tacos with it. With some mango salsa on top, it’s pretty hard to resist!
You can also pair this mahi-mahi recipe with a side of vegetable rice for a lean, healthy dinner.
