Rooibos Iced Tea Recipe

    When the weather is warm and you’re feeling thirsty, reach for this rooibos iced tea recipe. Refreshing and cool, rooibos is a natural thirst quencher and the perfect poolside accompaniment on a hot day.

    Rooibos tea, also known as red bush, is an herbal tea that’s traditionally used to treat everything from headaches and insomnia to hypertension and premature aging.

    This rooibos iced tea can help with all those ailments while also being an aromatic, tasty way to cool you down. Made with orange and cloves, this tea will delight you with bright citrus flavors and awaken your senses with the spicy cloves.

    Instructions

    1. Pour boiling water over tea and steep for about 4 minutes. Strain and set aside.
    2. Roll orange on counter for a minute to free the juices. Stud orange with cloves, pushing them into the peel.
    3. Put orange into a wide-mouthed glass container, pour in tea and chill.
    4. Serve in tall iced-tea glasses, garnished with orange slices and cinnamon sticks.
