Glass windows, furniture and mirrors collect dirt easily, and can get stained too. Soap and detergents may not be the best solution. Here are five quick tips to clean glass without streaking it:
- Use White Vinegar: Replace your ammonia-rich, store-bought cleaner with white vinegar. It is nontoxic, inexpensive, and doesn’t leave any streaks behind.
- Use Alcohol: Alcohol works as a great cleaner for mirrors. Just put some of it on a paper towel and rub it over the surface. It will not only make the mirror look spotless, but also make it germ-free at a minimal cost.
- Clean Top To Bottom: Clean the surface from top to bottom so that no drips streak your glass.
- Clean Corners With Cotton Swabs: Using cotton for removing the residue will clean the corners without streaking the other parts of the glass.
- Buff It: Use a lint-free dry rag to buff, once you are done cleaning the glass. This will polish and shine the surface.
